Baked Brie with Homemade Low-Sugar Cranberry Sauce
The coziest sweet & savory holiday appetizer- without the sugar
This holiday classic is a sugar-free version (or at least zero-added sugar as some might count the natural sugars in cranberries), but MAKE NO MISTAKE- it still captures that perfect sweetness to compliment the savory brie. This absolute holiday magic is accomplished by using Pyure Allulose and Maple Flavored Syrup. Both Organic, both sugar-free.
We know that the holiday season is filled with sugar and frankly, enough is enough. With the right products, anyone can enjoy the Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes and traditions they love without consuming tons of sugar.
If you've never used allulose, it's a rare sugar that occurs naturally in fruits, but it's made in a way that leaves out the calories and glycemic index of sugar. Because it's so close to sugar, it captures the flavor and consistency of sugar almost perfectly, but it won't spike your blood sugar, throw off your diet, or leave you with a crash. It's a newer product, and it's the very best option if you're looking for a sugar-free non-artificial sweetener.
We recommend serving this as a Christmas or Thanksgiving appetizer, bringing it to a party, or just making it as a quick lunch or "girl dinner", as we say. It also makes the perfect elevated movie-night snack for a fall or winter night.
