Low-Sugar Churros
There’s something irresistible about warm, freshly made churros—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and coated in sweet cinnamon goodness.
Traditionally enjoyed as a decadent treat, churros are known for their rich sweetness, but this version offers a lighter twist. By using sugar-free sweetener and a low-sugar Hazelnut Spread, you can enjoy all the classic flavor and satisfying crunch without the sugar overload. Perfect for dessert, weekend brunch, or a cozy snack with coffee, these churros prove you don’t have to sacrifice taste to make a smarter, lower-sugar choice.

Instructions
-

Remove from heat and mix in vanilla. Let cool 5 minutes. -
Pipe the hearts
Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
Pipe heart shapes onto small parchment squares (this makes transferring way easier). -
Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly spray churros with oil.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. -
Coat
While warm, toss churros in cinnamon sugar until fully coated.
Dip & enjoy
Serve warm with Pure hazelnut spread on the side (or drizzle it right on top if you’re feeling extra).
