Homemade Maple Granola
Have you ever tried making your own granola? If you're not really a granola person, we urge you to try DIY-ing it, because the store-bought version simply does not compare. This recipe is warm, crisp, and tastes like fall. Plus, it's sweetened with Pyure Maple, making it essentially sugar-free with the same great taste it would have if it was loaded with sugar.
Don't let autumn pass without enjoying this seasonal treat (it also packs well for all your mountain hikes/fall picnics).
Ingredients:
• 3 cups oats
• 1 cup chopped almonds
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• ½ cup shredded coconut
• ⅓ cup Pyure Maple Flavored Syrup
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the Pyure Maple Flavored Syrup, olive oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the maple mixture over the oat mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread evenly onto your prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and toasted.
- Let the granola cool completely before breaking it apart - this is what helps it stick together and form those delicious clusters!
Perfect over yogurt, smoothie bowls, or straight from the jar!
