Simply Add Stevia

Stevia Saves the Day

Let’s be real. The healthiest choices don’t always taste the greatest. Have you ever tried wheatgrass? Exactly.

For those of us who can’t bring ourselves to down a tall glass of apple cider vinegar or guzzle an entire kale and broccoli smoothie, a sprinkle of coconut sugar or dash of honey can seem like a sweet and easy fix.

The only problem is, when we add sweeteners like these to our foods, they become, well, decidedly less healthy.

Best Way To Make Sugar-Free Taste Better

Fortunately, as many sweet-toothed health nuts are finding, all sorts of good-for-you foods can be enhanced at no nutritional cost with the help of stevia. Indeed, many popular grocery store products that are low sugar or sugar-free rely on Pyure organic stevia for sweetness.

Using Stevia To Enhance Sweetness

Stevia is unlike any other sweetener in that it contains no sugar, no calories, and won’t affect blood sugar levels (it’s zero glycemic).

Stevia is also a highly sustainable crop, can be organic and non-GMO verified, and best of all, requires nothing artificial to achieve that coveted sweet taste.

Recipes Made with Stevia

We at Pyure believe that organic stevia is a health superhero — better for both people and the planet — which is why we’ve made it our focus for the past 10 years.

So, the next time you’re blending up some superfood greens, go ahead and add some stevia. It won’t foil your healthy plans, and it tastes as sweet as everything you crave. Here are a couple recipe ideas to get you started:

Apple Cider Vinegar Punch

Mix raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar, sparkling water, a couple tablespoons of apple or grape juice, a pinch of cinnamon, and a few drops or ½ tsp of stevia together. Serve cold over ice for a delicious, refreshing, and gut-health-conscious beverage!

Super Stevia Smoothie

In a blender, combine 1.5 cups frozen mango, 1 cup baby kale, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, and a teaspoon of stevia. Blend until creamy, sweet, and delicious. A perfect way to start the day.

Stevia Fro-Yo

If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat but don’t want to rack up calories, combine raw unsweetened cocoa powder with plain Greek yogurt, and add stevia to taste. Then pop in the freezer for 30-45 minutes for a truly delicious snack.
